3 The Minister of Education is responsible for the administration of all parts of the Education Act 1989 except for Parts 13, 13A, 14, 15, 15A, 16, 16A (sections 229A to 229D only), 18, 18A, 19 and 24 [Minister for Tertiary Education], Part 25 (Student Allowances) [Minister for Social Development and Employment], and Part 28 (Review of Educational Services) [Minister Responsible for the Education Review Office], and sections 17-22 of the Education (Polytechnics) Amendment Act 2009 [Minister for Tertiary Education].
