There has been a reduction of 95 children and young people with serious and persistent offending behavior since the last quarterly report.

The New Zealand Crime and Victims’ Survey (NZCVS) shows ~14,000 fewer adults experienced violent crime since the last quarterly report.

There is no change in reported performance this quarter as the Target measure is released annually.

The Government has achieved a 62% reduction since the target was set. Over 80% of households can be now identified as going into some form of social, transitional or private housing.

The Government will finalise the second emissions reduction plan (ERP2) imminently. This is the Government’s plan for meeting Emissions Budget 2 (EB2) and hence the second half of the Target 9 period (2026-2030).
